How to make a peyote stitchاسورة لولى

اسورة لولى Pearl Bracelet

A fantastic display of wealth from the aquatic depths is used to make this luxurious bracelet with a treasury of mauve and peach-colored cultured freshwater pearls and pastel rocailles seed beads.

Step 1
Cut 2 yards of thread from your spool. Using the end that you did not just cut, thread your needle -- Using the end that comes off the spool first makes threading your needle easier because of the weave of the thread. Weave a six-bead-wide peyote strip using size 8/0 cream soda seed beads. Weave the strip so it's long enough to fit your wrist, but allows room to add the clasp later.
Step 2
In a peyote strip, your last row will have three beads extending out past the other three beads in the same row -- weave your thread so it exits the first high bead. Pass the thread through the first loop of the clasp then back through the first high bead. Repeat so the loop is secure. Weave your thread through the beads so it exits the next high bead. Match up the remaining two loops on the clasp and continue to weave the clasp to the strip. Weave the remaining thread into the bracelet to secure; trim any excess.
Step 3
Use the tail thread from the beginning to add the second half of the clasp to the other end of the bracelet, working in the same manner as step 2.
Step 4
Cut three yards of thread and add your needle to the end first off the spool. Weave the thread into the bracelet until it is secure. Once secure, weave the thread so it exits the last bead in the first row along the edge.

Thread one 6mm potato pearl and one size 15/0 seed bead. Skip the size 15/0 seed bead (it will act as your ''stop bead'' and hold your pearl in place) and pass the needle back through the pearl, the size 8/0 seed bead that your thread came out of and the next size 8/0 seed bead in the row along the edge.

Thread a 4mm potato pearl and one size 15/0 seed bead. Skip the size 15/0 seed bead and pass back through the pearl, the size 8/0 seed bead you started with, then the next size 8/0 seed bead in the row along the edge.
Step 5
Repeat step 4, alternating the 6mm and the 4mm pearls for the length of the bracelet.
Step 6
Repeat step 4, adding pearls along the clasp end.
Step 7
Repeat step 4, adding pearls along the other long edge of the bracelet.
Step 8
Repeat step 4, adding pearls along the other clasp end.
Step 9
Once the pearls are added along the perimeter of the bracelet, position your thread back at the last bead of the last row along the clasp edge. Thread a crystal and a size 15/0 seed bead. Pass the thread back through the crystal and then under the second pearl fringe, securing the crystal in the slot between the first and second pearl fringes.
Repeat, adding crystals between each pearl fringe along the clasp edges. Weave thread end under pearls to secure.
